Following the fall of the Iron Curtain in the late 1980s there has been an explosion of interest in gardening across the former Soviet bloc. One of the most remarkable garden scenes is in Lithuania, where Lina has built up an organisation - Geltonas Karutis (Yellow Wheelbarrow) which operates as a ‘one stop shop’ for all things, and information, horticultural. Annie talks to her about the enterprise and about this small countries wonderfully dynamic garden scene.
