Lewis had a holiday job as a teenager, working on a building site, the obvious thing to do for a “working class boy from south London|”. He looked over the fence and saw a nice garden next door, and got talking to the gardener. Soon he was running his own garden construction company, moving on to the Kew Diploma before becoming Young Horticulturalist of the Year 2023. Noel talks to him about his career so far, about working at Kew, his travel plans and possible futures
