BBC Gardeners' World historian Advolly has recently published her first book, on the stories behind 60 of the flowering plants that bring colour to our gardens. We talk to her about the book, her fascination with garden history, archery, her recent rapturous welcome in the US alongside fellow Black garden history writer Abra Lee, and what else she's currently researching. As an aside, Advolly was once a trainee in Noel's garden!
